Residential

Heat-pumps are increasingly being used in the domestic market as people realise the benefits of installing such systems.

Remember these systems not only cool and reduce the humidity of your home in the hot summer months, they also provide you with the most energy efficient commercially viable form of heating currently available.

There are many options available on the market the most basic ones being small portable and through the wall models. We don’t recommend either of these types, as they are expensive to run, thermally inefficient, noisy and at best only a temporary solution. If an entire house system using multiple fan coils situated in every area as in radiators in a conventional wet system is not required, we can use individual split systems to target specific areas in order to achieve the clients requirements.

Bedrooms

Just imagine no more humid hot sticky sleepless nights. In our experience of installing air conditioning systems in bedrooms we’ve found quite a high percentage of clients work nightshifts and find it hard enough to alter sleep patterns without having to tolerate high summer daytime temperatures, traffic noise and the general hustle and bustle of a normal day.

Modern Daikin inverter heat-pump systems can be set on automatic and will then keep to a set temperature. They produce little noise on normal daytime settings however they have the option of sleep mode this reduces any fan noise to a barely perceptible level to aid sleep

Living areas and sitting rooms

People today spend a lot of money on home hi-fi systems, flat screen TV with surround sound home cinema systems. To enjoy this array of technology we buy comfortable lounge furniture in which we soak in the crystal clear images and sounds produced. So why in summer when temperatures are high and windows are open do we tolerate the noise, pollen and traffic fumes pouring in from outside.

The solution is simple a Daikin inverter heat-pump system will provide the desired room temperature and enable you to shut out the dust and noise from outside. This also will make your house secure from opportune thieves scouring the neighbourhood for open doors or windows.

These systems are fitted with technologically advanced filtration systems and can help reduce pollen and bacteria in the room; this is a big plus for asthma sufferers.

Conservatories

Your conservatory provides you with an oasis of tranquillity in your own home, so it seems sensible to be able to control its temperature at a comfortable relaxing level throughout the year. Your conservatory represents a major investment in your home so why is it that according to surveys over 80% of owners say their conservatory is either too hot or too cold to use all year round.

A small amount of the outlay would provide you with a quiet, unobtrusive, energy efficient method of heating and cooling without the need to extend your existing heating system if that’s possible. If boiler capacity has been reached a larger boiler would have to be fitted to run the extra radiators.

You also find in some conservatory configurations without dwarf walls there are no possible mounting points for radiators, however due to the vast range of Daikin fan coils we can nearly always find a solution. The vast majority of conventional heating systems are not very energy efficient take a long time to increase your conservatories temperature.

The solution yet again is to install a Daikin inverter heat–pump system, which in a short space of time will achieve your desired temperature. These systems because of their speed in reaching set temperature give you the option of only heating / cooling your conservatory when its in use, this can help reduce your energy consumption.

If a medium sized conservatory is heated using electric panel heaters for 7 hours a day to a temperature of 21ºC in winter depending on how well the house is insulated, the total energy consumption can be between 55% and 300% of the cost of heating the rest of the house by gas. These figures are for an average sized three bed-roomed house. In these days of rapidly increasing energy costs there can be only one option as a Daikin inverter heat-pump system uses 1Kw of electrical energy to produce 4Kw of heat energy.
